LAMDA

Swindon Young Actors offers students the opportunity to take LAMDA performance acting exams in the Autumn term of each year. Exams take place at the end of November at the Swindon Public Centre. Learners may also be entered at the Cheltenham Public Centre, which generally takes place a week later than the Swindon dates. Learners may take the exams on their own 'solo entry' or with a partner 'duologue entry'; all learners are marked indivdually whether entering alone or with a partner. Learners attend a course of 10 x 40 minute private lessons to prepare for the exams (1 hour for grades 7 & 8) on either a Mon, Tues, Wed or Thurs at a time to suit. The cost is £14.00 per session for solo learners and £7.50 per session for duologue learners up to grade 6 and £20.00 for solo learners and £11.00 for duologue learners per session for grades 7 & 8. Places are limited and fill up quickly, so please do let us know if you would like to receive information about the next examination session.
